The Etchplain Wrap is the perfect accessory when the warm summer evenings turn chilly.  This luxurious wrap features springy soft sport weight wool and beautiful stitch definition in a medium size, perfect for walking along the beach at dusk or for drinks at sunset. Feminine details include the diamond pattern surrounded by mitered corner borders on all edges.  Pattern is in written form and in chart form.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Chicadee by Quince & Co. (100% American Wool; 50g/181yds): 8 Skeins.  Shown in the color Iceland.

ALTERNATE YARN: O-Wash Sport by O-Wool (100% Washable Certified Organic Merino Wool; 100g/304 yds): 5 Skeins.  Gentle processing with environmentally friendly procedures to prevent felting and create beautiful solid colorways. Milled & dyed in the USA from wonderfully soft merino wool under stringent GOTS certifications.  This yarn has been discontinued.

ALTERNATE YARN: Arroyo by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/335yds): 5 Skeins.  Kettle-dyed in small batches to create subtle to highly variegated yarns.  Washable, wonderfully soft and bouncy Merino wool from Uruguay.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 64" wingspan x 18" tall 
YARDAGE: approximately 1,448 yds of sport weight yarn
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate - bobbles, lacework, provisional cast-on

NEEDLES: Size US 4 / 3.5mm straight needles & 40" circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
OTHER TOOLS: Stitch marker, scrap yarn, crochet hook & Tapestry Needle.  Blocking pins & mat optional
GAUGE: 24 sts x 38 rows = 4" in stitch pattern, after blocking
