Add a little whimsy to your life with this fast knit in bulky weight yarn. Gorgeous rippling waves in garter stitch are accented with subtle repeats of stockinette stitch. Baby alpaca is a great substitution for cashmere because both hair fibers have the same softness, warmth and drape. Knit in the round from the bottom up with simple stitches and decadent yarn, this is a fast and satisfying knit.
Remember, there is a lot of difference in the weight of various bulky yarns. The yarn used for the sample is on the lighter side of bulky.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Cashmere Chunky by Sunshine Fibers (100% Cashmere; 70g/90yds): 2 Skeins.
ALTERNATE YARN: Baby Alpaca Chunky by Cascade Yarns (100% Baby Alpaca; 100g/108yds): 2 Skeins.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 8” tall with a circumference tapering from 29” at the bottom to 25” at the top
YARDAGE: 180 yds
SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner
NEEDLES: Size US 9 / 5.5mm 24" circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
OTHER TOOLS: Tapestry Needle, stitch marker
GAUGE: 14 stitches x 25 rows = 4 " in lightly blocked pattern stitch (roughly equal to 15 stitches in 4 inches of stockinette on the same needles).
