This pattern can easily be adapted into a plain child's summer top by simply knitting it in one color! Haltermelon originally was published in Petite Purls online magazine. Due to its popularity, the pattern has been re-released in extended sizes 3Mo-6yrs!

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Cotton Stria by Manos del Uruguay (100% Peruvian Cotton; 50g/116yds): 2 (2, 3) Skeins MC, 1 Skein CC + scrap of black yarn for seeds. This yarn has been discontinued. Please select from the following yarns.
ALTERNATE YARN: Organic Cotton Worsted by Blue Sky Fibers (100% Certified Organic Cotton; 100g/150yds): 1 (2, 2) Skeins Main Color (MC), 1 Skein Contrasting Color (CC), & 10 yds black yarn for Solid Colors. Now available in solid colors only. PRE-ORDER available for all colors. Please choose 1 or 2 colors (Ink mini skein will be added to 2 color orders)
