The Vine Cloche Felted Hat is a modern cloche with a simple leaf and vine applique. This hat is knit in the round, and then felted in a washing machine. The vine is a felted I-cord, and the leaves are cut from a fabric made from felted knitting. The appliques are attached post-felting with a sewing needle and transparent thread. Complete instructions are provided for making and sewing the appliques, and for felting the hat in a washing machine.

ALTERNATE YARN: Falkland Chunky by Queensland Collection (100% Falkland Wool; 100g/131 yds): 2 Skeins. Use Bermuda to closely match the hat shown. This organic bulky weight yarn comes from the famed Falkland Islands, known for its humane treatment of sheep, their pristine fleeces and the resulting soft yarn.
