Kit includes pattern (both the elbow-length sleeve version and long sleeve version are included) and selected yarn. Kits with similar yarn requirements are combined for purchasing purposes only.  For yarn winding services, click here.  Because this pattern is so vibrant, Yarn Loop has selected the perfect color combinations over several different brands (Malabrigo, O-Wool, & Baah Yarn) to create the best fades.  Please rest assured that all are washable Merino Wool of the correct weight. Please wash all of your skeins prior to starting your project to prevent color bleeding in the finished garment.

 Lt Fingering to Fingering Weight

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Boon Skinny by Woolen Boon (100% Merino Wool; 100g/400yds): 5 Skeins, 1 of each color.  Shown in Mint Julep, Robin Sparkles, Bedazzle, Buffy, & So Rananculus

ALTERNATE YARN: Sock by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/440yds MINI: 25g/110yds): 1 (2, 2, 2) MINI Skeins in Color A, 1 (1, 2, 2) MINI Skeins each in Color C & Color D, 1 (1, 1, 2) MINI Skeins Color B & 1 Mini Skein Color E.  You will have leftover yarn. Variegated kettle-dyed yarn from Uruguay with subtle to striking color shifts.  Silky soft merino wool in easy care superwash, too!

ALTERNATE YARN: O-Wash Fingering by O-Wool (100% Washable Organic Merino Wool; 100g/428 yds MINI: 25g/100yds):  1 (2, 2, 2) MINI Skeins in Color A, 1 (1, 2, 2) MINI Skeins each in Color C & Color D, 1 (1, 1, 2) MINI Skeins Color B & 1 Mini Skein  Color E.   Solid colors dyed in the Northeastern USA.  GOTS certified gentle processes to prevent felting while retaining its original wooly character. The most environmentally friendly yarn.  This yarn has been discontinued.

SIZE: 12MO/2T/4  (6, 8/10, 12). Shown in size 4 with 2" of positive ease.
YARDAGE: Elbow-length sleeves: 252/349/451 (529, 628/775, 773) yds; long sleeves: 283/403/524 (601, 709/876, 890) yds 
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate-raglan shaping, stockinette stitch, garter stitch, color fading (melting), ribbing, working flat and in the round, casting on and binding off.

NEEDLES: Size US 5 / 3.75mm & US 3 / 3.25mm 24" circular needles and set Double Points, or size needed to obtain gauge
OTHER TOOLS: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, stitch holders or scrap yarn, and a row counter is recommended 
GAUGE: 25 sts x 32 rows = 4" using larger needles, worked in the round, after blocking
