DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Extra by Blue Sky Fibers (55% Baby Alpaca / 45% Fine Merino Wool; 150g/218yds): 1 Skein in each of 4 colors. Shown in Java, Buttercream, Chestnut & Mulberry Wine. FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Hat - Circumference: 18″ x 10" tall. Cowl - 64″ long x 12" wide
YARDAGE: approximately 872 yds
SKILL LEVEL: Easy - change colors at the ends of rows & weave in ends. Hat is worked in the round.
NEEDLES: Size US 10 / 6mm 16" circular needle & Set of Double Points to make hat. Size US 10.5 / 6.5mm needle for cowl, or size needed to obtain gauge
OTHER TOOLS: Stitch Marker, Tapestry needle & 5.5cm pompom maker
GAUGE: 12 sts x 14 rows = 4″ in stockinette stitch on larger needles, blocked
