Lacis - Yarn Ball Winder II

The Lacis hand operated yarn winder makes perfect center pull balls of up to 4 oz. Simply thread the yarn through the guide and place the end in the slot at the top of the cone, and then wind away. Once your ball or cake is wound, wrap the tail around the body and secure. There is no need for any extra cones or tubes.
The ball winder has an integral 1.5" table clamp, and the covered gear box prevents jamming.
A note from Rachel: This is my favorite winder...I have used the same one to wind every mini and every ball for customers over the past 5 years, and it's still absolutely perfect. The Lacis isn't the prettiest winder on the market, but functionally, it's excellent, and I highly recommend this one.
When winding, the key is to go slowly and keep your eyes on the swift and winder, so that when the yarn does tangle, you can stop before breaking your yarn (or swift or winder).
