Using Moonshine, a luxurious alpaca/wool/silk blend gives this hat an elegant and warm finish. DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Moonshine by Juniper Moon Farm (40% Alpaca / 40% Wool / 20% Silk; 100g/197yds): 1 Skein. Shown in Conch Shell (this color is discontinued).
ALTERNATE YARN: Merino Worsted by Malabrigo (100% Merino Wool; 100g/210yds): 1 Skein. Merino Worsted is a beautiful kettle-dyed yarn that does not have any silk content (so it won't have any sheen). It is a slightly thicker weight and will make a slightly bulkier hat.
NEEDLES: Size US 7 / 4.5mm 16" circular needle and set Double Points as well as Size US 5 / 3.75mm 16" circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
