The Willow Bucket Hat features visible seaming, a braided band and simple decreases along the brim.  This fashionable accessory will keep the sun off of your skin while you shop, walk, or hang out with friends.  This is a great pattern for the adventurous knitter who is ready for cables and a little bit of shaping.

The cable band is knit first. The crown is picked up and knit. The brim is then picked up and knit down. Cable pattern is included as written text and chart.

Knitting Kit includes pattern (pdf & printed pattern) and yarn.

  DK Weight

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Hempathy by Elsebeth Lavold (41% Cotton / 34% Hemp / 25% Modal; 50g/153 yds): 2 Balls Main Color (MC) & 1 Ball Contrasting Color (CC).  Shown in Sand Dune & Deep Mulberry.  This yarn has the hand of a linen/cotton blend but has the colorfastness of Hemp and the softness of modal (rayon), too.  A delightful yarn to knit with.
