From Knitscene Winter 2015, this classic snowfall colorwork pattern graces the front and back yokes of this knitted pullover. Saddle shoulders join the three-quarter-length sleeves to the body, creating a timeless sweater to wear for years to come. The hem is lower in the back with a little short row shaping.
Kit includes pattern (pdf & printed pattern) and selected yarn. For yarn winding services, click here.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Cascade 220 by Cascade Yarns (100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 100g/220yds): 3 (4, 4, 4, 4, 5) Skeins MC & 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins CC. Shown in Navy & Natural.
ALTERNATE YARN: Rios by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/210yds): 3 (4, 4, 4, 4, 5) Skeins MC & 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins CC. Rios is a softer wool than Cascade 220 with the added benefit of easy superwash care. Rios has a beautiful variation within each skein that will knit up like the second sweater pictured. The yarn is kettle dyed in small batches and the color varies from batch to batch, so make sure that you have enough yarn on hand to finish your project.

A Note from Yarn Loop-The designer over estimated yardage to guarantee that the project can be finished. Yarn Loop has made one sweater size M in house and used approximately 750 yds MC & 340 yds CC. Please leave 1 skein of each color in original packaging just in case you have a full skein leftover and would like to participate in the Buy-Back Program.
Please wash Rios colors separately before starting your sweater to remove extra dye. Soak skeins in warm water with wool wash for 20 minutes, rinse and repeat without agitating the yarn until water is clear. Gently roll in a towel to remove most of the water and hang to dry. Do not ball until all yarn is dry!
