Latte De was designed for the 2023 Baah Yarn Advent Calendar but can be used for any combination of Fingering Weight mini skeins. Mini skeins should be a minimum of 70 yards.
This shawl is a part of the ‘Love for Coffee Series’, modeled after the Third Cup of Coffee Shawl and the Coffee All Day Long Shawl with the iconic color border simulating the ‘caffeine buzz’! The name Latte Da came from an adorable coffee shop in Lee Vining, CA near Yosemite. Latte Da is a burst of color and pattern that will inspire you to keep knitting to see what is coming next! The parallelogram shape and using a daring palette is designed to pique your interest and take you outside of your color comfort zone.
The finished project for 12 minis is approximately 12 x 70 inches blocked
The finishes project for 25 minis approximately 21 x 85 inches blocked
The set of Baah Minis includes 12 mini skeins of 20g / 80 yards each.
Kit includes pattern and selected yarn. Pattern only selection includes PDF file only. Kits include the printed pattern & the PDF file as well as selected yarns.

RECOMMENDED YARN: La Jolla in Baah Yarn (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 20g/80yds): 12 (25) Mini Skeins. Now available for Pre-Orders! FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Small - 70" long x 12" tall (uses 1 Baah Advent Set). Large - 85" long x 21" tall (Uses 25 mini skeins)
YARDAGE: 960 (2,000) yds
SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner / Easy - Chevron Stitch
NEEDLES: Size US 4 / 3.5mm Straight needles or 24" circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge.
OTHER TOOLS: Tapestry Needle
GAUGE: 24 sts = 4” in Chevron Stitch
CARE INSTRUCTIONS - For best care, hand-wash knit or crocheted items in cold water, avoid soaking. Then lay flat to dry. We recommend handwashing skeins prior to making your project to remove any remaining excess dye. Blocking: Use a spray bottle filled with ice cold water and spray your garment, block and lay flat to dry.
