The Bigger Darning Loom is ideal for weaving patches over large holes in sweaters, blankets, and even over the knees of jeans.  Its three heddles have three teeth sizes and are longer and wider than the ones in the Heddle Expansion Pack. 

This Darning & Mending Loom Kit includes all of the tools you need to repair a hole in a knitted garment.  Following the enclosed simple instructions, you will be mending clothing and accessories in no time!  The Darning Loom is featured on MDK in this article here, which includes a photo tutorial using the Darning Loom.

  • 3 x Heddles: 5, 6, and 7 teeth per inch (approximately 3.5" long)

  • For patching average sized holes of .75" to 2.5" with a darning patch of up to 3.5" across 

Which size is best for your project?  The Tiny Loom is best for darning up to 1/2".  The Smaller Loom is best for darning holes between 1/2" to 1".  The Bigger Darning Loom is best for thicker garments like jeans and blankets with holes up to 2 1/2".  Click any link to go directly to the looms.

Because the darning loom is made of a natural material, the appearance of each item may slightly vary.  Made from locally sourced wood and hand finished in the Katrinkles studio in Providence RI.
