Knit the Alpine Hat, a holiday hat full of cheer and joy. A fun project that uses one 50g hank of Woolstok and one mini hank of Woolstok for each stripe. The unisex hat has a color palette ideal for both men and women.

Rich in character with excellent stitch definition and easy to work with, this yarn is available in lots of colors. You’ll quickly cozy up to it, no doubt. Only the finest of Peruvian Wool is used for Woolstok, a worsted-weight yarn, strong and sturdy, gently plied to give it loft, lightness and a soft hand.

Kit includes FREE .PDF and printed pattern, 1 50g Skein of Main Color and 1 Mini Bundle of colors.  You will have mini skeins left over for more hats, gnomes, or cat toys!  For ball winding services, click here.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Woolstok by Blue Sky Fibers (100% Fine Highland Wool; 50g/123yds): 1 Skein Main Color (MC) & 1 Bundle of Mini hanks (3 minis in each of 7 colors).  Shown in colors Gravel Road (MC), Wild Thyme, Red Rock, October Sky, Golden Meadow, Cranberry Compote & Highland Fleece.

YARDAGE: approximately 195 yds

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner - color changes & decreases

NEEDLES: Size US 6 / 4mm & US 7 / 4.5mm 16" circular needles in each size and set Double Points in US 7, or size needed to obtain gauge
OTHER TOOLS: Stitch Marker, Tapestry needle

GAUGE: 22 sts x 30 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on larger needle
