Getting ready for Fall

The seasons are starting to change, and for those in the southern states, there is relief from the oppressive heat. With the temperature drop, many find themselves thinking of their next adventure with yarn. The summer tees and sundresses have been finished, so it is time to start cooler weather garments.

This week's knitting spotlight is especially for my knitting buddy, Nan. SOCKS, SOCKS, SOCKS! While many people love to make socks, some have never tried. No row counting or color changes required. This is one of the most ingenious inventions in the yarn industry.
